Hunter Centre students receive free entrepreneurship book

Emeritus Professor Dick Weaver, Visiting Professor in the Hunter Centre for the past three years, has provided free copies of his book - Understanding Entrepreneurship - to all Hunter Centre students. Professor Weaver has used the Hunter Centre as a base for the writing of his book which offers a very personal and original perspective on the nature of entrepreneurship and the domains in which it is applied.

Providing students with copies was made possible with the financial support of some Scottish entrepreneurs and business leaders, including Brian Souter. As a result of this funding, Professor Weaver was able to get the book privately published and has made copies available to all first year Strathclyde students taking Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, and second and third year students following the Business Enterprise degree pathway.

He has also given away free copies to business studies students at both University of Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian and to some local colleges.
