An online careers event aimed at marketing students has been organised for June 7-11, with the opportunity for students to chat online to Strathclyde alumni who work in marketing and advertising positions.
Relevant professional bodies will also be participating, as well as a careers adviser who will be able to give careers guidance.
Participants will include Strathclyde alumni working for Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Johnson and Johnson, Jaeger-leCoultre, Estee Lauder, Cinema India, Polydor Records, Barclaycard, National Australia, RBS, LAMH Recycle Ltd, GlaxoSmithKline, Centrica and Accenture. They will be happy to talk about how they decided which area of marketing they chose to work in, how they searched for jobs, what the selection process was like and what they do on a day to day basis.
