Hunter Centre academic to be judge at Scottish business awards

Professor Colin Mason, Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship, has been invited to sit on the judging panel of the Scottish Business and Entrepreneurship Awards which will take place on January 2011 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. The awards, which are to be televised, aim to recognise and celebrate excellence in Scottish business, raising the profile of Scottish business to a wide audience and highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship to the Scottish economy.

There are a further 10 judges on the panel, including Dragon's Den's Duncan Bannatyne, Shaf Rasul of Dragon's Den Online and Strathclyde alumnus, Donald MacDonald, Founder and CEO of MacDonald Hotels, and Jennifer Cheyne, CEO of Cheyne's Hairdressing.
