Graduates of Strathclyde Business School's MSc programmes offered by the Department of Accounting and Finance are to be given exemptions towards the Chartered Banker qualification set up by the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
Graduates from the MSc programmes in Finance, International Banking and Finance, Investment and Finance and International Accounting and Finance, will be given six credits towards the qualification, which will leave them just a further five credits to complete.
The Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland is the oldest banking institute in the world; the only remaining banking institute in the UK and the only organisation to award the 'Chartered Banker' designation to its qualified members.
