Marketing researcher wins blogging competition

Doctoral researcher Jillian Ney from the Department of Marketing has been recognised by Mashable for her contribution to their international 'future of blogging...' competition.

Mashable the online new media blog and website is a leader in new media communication and is widely recognised by an international practitioner base.

Jillian has been awarded full access to the Inaugural BlogWorld and New Media Conference in Las Vegas, USA. The conference, the first of its kind, will be held from October 14-16 and will have over 200 speakers and 100 exhibiting companies. There will also be over 150 educational drop-in sessions.

This is an excellent opportunity for Jillian to network with the major players in new media communication and learn about emerging practitioner strategies.
