Chief executive talks to hospitality and tourism students

David Cochrane, chief executive of HIT (Hospitality Industry Trust) Scotland was at the business school on October 11 to give a talk to second and third year students on the Hospitality and Tourism course.

He talked about the opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sector, about leadership and what they needed to do to be good leaders. He also looked at how HIT Scotland can benefit students through contacts and job opportunities.

HIT is a Scottish based charity which raises funds to support and encourage excellence in the hospitality industry and whose mission is to "assist people to achieve their potential within Scottish hospitality".
