Strathclyde Business School's graduation ball

Strathclyde Business School hosted a graduation ball at Oran Mor on November 1, open to postgraduate students in Glasgow and our overseas centres.

This year's ball featured a traditional ceilidh and dinner, and was attended by graduating students, their friends and family, alumni and SBS staff. Dean of Strathclyde Business School, Professor Susan Hart, congratulated those who had graduated earlier that day and awarded prizes to those prize-winners present that evening.

The prizes were as follows:

Roy Jenkins prize for best MBA project (awarded jointly): Julius Abensur and Sarah Guthrie (full time MBA)

Best MBM project: John McQuade and Alice Tseng

Best BITS project: Ron W Ross

The Neil Hood/Stephen Young prize for best MIM project (awarded to two individuals): David McLean, Sebastian Martin

The Chris Hill prize for best overall MBA student: Sarah Guthrie

A special Quaich was presented to Michael Cooper, full time MBA programme, in recognition of his work in launching the first UK chapter of the MBA Oath, his various efforts in networking and promoting the Strathclyde MBA and his involvement in writing for the Financial Times MBA blog.
