A 4th year Marketing student, Lucy Taylor, won second prize for her poster submission as part of the undergraduate research internship programme. Fifty undergraduate students from across the University presented their posters to students and senior officers of the University on October 8 and the prizes were awarded by the Principal, Professor Jim McDonald. Lucy's poster was titled "Can community co-creation improve the daily commute?" and her work was supervised by Matthew Alexander and Professor Heiner Evanschitzky of the Department of Marketing.

Submissions were judged by an academic panel made up of colleagues from each of the faculties. The posters were judged on a range of criteria including the ability to explain the research to a non-specialist; conveying the research question(s) and reasons for doing the research; presenting key findings and drawing conclusions, and visual impact.

The Learning Enhancement Co-ordinator at Strathclyde's Centre for Academic Practice and Learning, Cherie Woolmer, highlighted the extremely high quality of the submissions made and congratulated the prize winners and their supervisors.
