Paper presented at entrepreneurship conference

Jillian Gordon, Kay Henderson (both Hunter Centre) and Dr Eleanor Shaw (Marketing) presented a refereed paper at the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship Conference, which was held in London, November 2-4.

The paper - "Entrepreneurial Philanthropy in the 21st Century: the role of entrepreneurial capital in contemporary practice' - is based upon the findings from the first stage of their ESRC-funded research project which is exploring the role of wealthy entrepreneurs in wealth redistribution.

This event has become known as the premier forum for debate and discussion on all aspects of entrepreneurship and for this reason attracts policy makers, practitioners and academics from all across the world. Papers were presented on a range of topics from Ethics and Environment to Gender, Entrepreneurship Education to Regeneration.
