Virtual participation in workshop for professor

Professor John Quigley of the Department of Management Science presented at a Critical Infrastructure Protection workshop hosted by the University of Dalhousie in Halifax, Canada. The workshop theme was "Disasters in the Infrastructure: Performance and Assessment". Professor Quigley presented on collaborative work with academics in Dalhousie's School of Public Administration on an analysis of media coverage following disasters in critical infrastructure.

The research team has examined media coverage on natural disasters, technical failures, food contamination, pandemics, cyber incidents and failed terrorism across Australia, Canada, the UK and the US. Although unable to attend physically, with the technical support of Howard Ramsay from the business school and CAPLE, Professor Quigley was able to participate virtually.
