Following the sudden death of Dr Jason Cope (1972-2010) while in the USA on a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence programme, a memorial service is planned for the New Year. Dr Cope was a much admired academic. He joined the Hunter Centre in January 2009 and in the short time he spent at Strathclyde established himself as a popular and engaging colleague, teacher and friend. He was a Fulbright Scholar at Florida State University. Further details on the memorial service will be announced nearer the time.
