Collaborative bid success for SBS

A team from Strathclyde Business School has been successful in a collaborative bid with a Canadian university in securing a contribution agreement of $100,000 from the Canada School of Public Service, a branch of the Canadian Government, for the purpose of supporting innovative public management research.

The team from Strathclyde comprised Dr Calvin Burns, department of Human Resource Management, Professor John Quigley of Management Science and Howard Ramsay (SBS and CAPLE). The project, working with a team from the University of Dalhousie, Canada, aims to develop and pilot a course to explore a multi-disciplinary approach to risk governance, which will be provided through technology-based, state-of-the-art delivery, for public sector managers.
