Oman's MBA graduation ceremony


Strathclyde Business School's Oman centre held its MBA graduation ceremony on December 15, attended by His Excellency, Mr Hamad Al Amri, the Under Secretary of Technological Education in the Ministry of Manpower, and His Excellency, Hamood bin Sangour, the Executive President of the Central Bank of Oman.

This was the sixth batch of MBA graduates to graduate from the Oman centre, which is operated by the College of Banking and Financial Studies (CBFS).

CBFS Dean, Dr Ashraf Al Nabhani, highlighted that CBFS started the MBA programme in 2000 and over 150 students have obtained their degree since then, with a further 185 students currently enrolled on the MBA programme, and added that CBFS was proud to be contributing to the 'talent pool' in Oman.

A total of 33 students graduated in December's ceremony in Oman, with five gaining distinctions.
