John Fernandes, President and CEO, announced that there was an 'unprecedented' number of ballots cast, representing 41% of the voting membership from 53 countries. "We welcome this result as a demonstration of the enthusiasm, interest and support on the part of members in the organisation's leadership and future."
The board will meet three times each year and, in addition to Professor Susan Hartservice on the board, some members may be invited to serve on committees or task forces such as the nominating committee or finance committee.
