Strathclyde hosts Academy of Marketing Special Interest Group

As part of the programme of activities celebrating the Department of Marketing's 40th Anniversary, The Academy of Marketing's Special Interest Group in entrepreneurial and small business marketing convened at Strathclyde Business School on September 13.

Organised by Professor Eleanor Shaw of the Department of Marketing, the event was aimed at those involved in researching creative, innovative approaches to marketing and to entrepreneurship more widely.

Those taking part included Professor Audrey Gilmore and Dr Damien Gallagher, University of Ulster; Dr Roz Jones, Bangor Business School and Dr Mari Suoranta, University of Jyväskylä Finland & University of California, Berkeley, US; Philippe Massiera, Ecole des Dirigeants et Createur d'Entreprise, France; Dr Carley Foster, Professor Clare Brindley, Dr Dan Wheatley, Nottingham Business School and Nottingham Trent University; Dr Jonathan Deacon and Jackie Harris, University of Wales; and Paul Harrigan, University of Southampton.
