Professor Philip Taylor of the Department of Human Resource Management gave a keynote presentation and chaired and moderated a session at the National Association of Software and Service Companies annual BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Strategy Summit which took place in Gurgaon, New Delhi (August 23-24).
His presentation, 'The Globalisation of Services: Developments in the Landscape of Sourcing', drew on more than a decade's research into the offshoring of contact centre services and back-office processes to India and to other developing world geographies, notably the Philippines.
As a renowned international thought leader on the subject of global sourcing, Professor Taylor was involved in extensive media coverage, including a live television news broadcast (Bloomberg News India) and eight separate newspaper interviews.
