Speaking engagements for professor

Professor Eleanor Shaw has been invited to chair the Ambition debate being held at the House of Lords on November 2.

The Ambition debate is hosted by Independent Women, Scotland's first IFA firm dedicated to offering professional financial advice for women, operating since 1997. Comprising a panel discussion specifically in the context of the post 2008 financial chaos, the debate will look at the ensuing (and disappointing) lack of change in behaviour or attitude in many areas, the context of the Davies Report, and will be looking at the question of getting more women on Boards.

The Debate will be brought to Scotland at a later date. More details on the London event can be found here.

Professor Shaw is also set to deliver the keynote address to the II Workshop on Entrepreneurship, Small and Medium-Size Enterprises and Family Firms hosted at the Department of Business Management, University Pablo de Olavide, Seville, on November 4.
