Postgraduate alumni of the Department of Marketing met up on September 17 in Glasgow for their first every reunion event. The group of about 20, all from MSc International Marketing class of 2001, arrived in Glasgow from as far afield as China, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico, Canada, Greece, Belgium, and Germany for a nostalgia-filled weekend to mark the tenth anniversary of their graduation.
Like many other alumni cohorts, this group organised themselves through Facebook and other informal networks. The high point of the reunion was a lovely dinner at Elia's Restaurant on George Square, with drinks afterwards at the Corinthian. Professors Kevin Ibeh and Stan Paliwoda went along to greet and reconnect with these returning alumni.
