The Department of Accounting and Finance has been chosen to host the 2015 Annual Congress of the European Accounting Association. The conference will be held in the SECC with a civic reception in the Glasgow Science Museum and a planned conference meal in the new Museum of Transport.
The EAA Annual Congress is one of the largest accounting academic conferences and an opportunity to increase the international profile and reputation of the department and Strathclyde Business School.
It is anticipated that over 1,500 delegates will attend this conference and over 800 papers will be presented in parallel streams with a number of high profile plenary speakers. The European Accounting Association is a Europe-wide community of accounting and finance scholars and researchers and provides a platform for the wider dissemination of European accounting research, and to foster and improve research.
