Scottish Universities Insight Institute project for SBS

Scottish Universities Insight Institute has begun a six-month project, 'Developing capacity in technology road mapping: Research, business practice and policy for Scotland'. The project aims to develop capacity in doing road technology mapping, for science and technology research, for large organisations interested in updating their research and development practices, for SMEs which might normally lack resources to undertake road mapping; and for social, cultural and economic policy-making.

Professor John Finch (Marketing, Strathclyde Business School), Dr Raluca Bunduchi (University of Aberdeen), Mr Scott Wilson (Scottish Enterprise), Professor Paul Mitchell (University of Aberdeen) and Ms Norin Arshed (Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship, Strathclyde Business School) make up the project team.

The project will comprise of a literature review, case studies and a snap-shot survey in Scotland, and involves the project team working closely with numerous colleagues in science and technology disciplines.
