Press coverage for Strathclyde Business School


This month saw The Financial Times carry an article on the MBA 25 –Executives and entrepreneurs blended into a single MBA – which looked at the joint MBA programme created by SBS and William Grant & Sons, with comment from SBS Dean, Professor Susan Hart.

The FT also carried a separate article on the Executive Masters in Hospitality and Tourism Leadership, 'A Hospitable Welcome in Scotland.'

Several of our students were interviewed for the BBC's The Politics Show, broadcast on November 13. The interviews were part of a piece focusing on Michael Russell's visit to India where he paid the inaugural visit to SBS's new India campus – Strathclyde SKIL Business School - set up in partnership with infrastructure company SKIL.

The India visit by Michael Russell also garnered press coverage in The Hindustan Times, Mail Today, City Bengaluru, New Kerala, Sify News, The Times of India, and other publications in India, and the news also featured in Yahoo News, The Herald, The Scotsman, Press & Journal.

As always, the Fraser of Allander's Economic Commentary was widely covered in the press and broadcast media.

Other news mentions this month included articles based on research by Professor Colin Mason (Hunter Centre). The Scotland on Sunday carried an article on November 13 - Look at failure as a mere stepping stone to success – the article was about the concept of failure being associated with progress for business owners. It also appeared in The Scotsman on November 14 and Financial Times on November 11.
