Directors of Research from across Europe come together for formal input and to share their issues and solutions with each other. The programme runs over three two-day slots from November to February each year. As more and more business schools in the Far East become accredited by EQUIS, the next cycle is likely to be in Hong Kong beginning in the autumn of 2012.
The EFMD is taking research leadership seriously in its Professor McKiernan accreditation process and has started to organise its first research conference in Zurich in March. Professor McKiernan will be one of several global academics with interests in the business of Business Schools to provide a keynote talk on the first day of the event.
