The launch of the new and exciting Executive Masters in Hospitality and Tourism Leadership programme took place on January 26 2012 in Glasgow at Blythswood Square Hotel.
The launch and programme was co-ordinated by Strathclyde Business School and its industry partner, the International Leadership School in Scotland (ILS).
The Executive Masters was designed, through collaboration with the ILS, to provide talented, senior managers from the hospitality and tourism sectors with enhanced skills in leadership. Participants on the programme are senior managers from both large hotel chains and smaller organisations. They will study for 2 years part-time to attain their Masters degree, with teaching in 2012 taking place in the Centre for Corporate Connections, Strathclyde Business School, and teaching in year two taking place at Cornell School of Hotel Administration (New York) and Ecole hoteliere de Lausanne (Switzerland).
