Professor Wright, Department of Economics, delivered the Human Sciences Symposium lecture on February 11 at Oxford. The Human Sciences Symposium is an annual event, where international experts are asked to present their views on a pre-selected topic. Professor Wright explained how the current global population reached the current level of 7 billion. He also argued that another 2-2.5 billion people will be added before the population stabilises.
