‘We must acquire taste for success’ (Edinburgh Evening News, 27.06.12). This was an article about about the results of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor report. It was also mentioned in:

‘Raise your glass to a spirited idea’ (The Independent, 28.06.12), an article about the MBA 25, launched in partnership with William Grant & Sons whisky distillers. Business School Dean Professor Susan Hart is quoted.

Among them was Strathclyde’s Julie Wilson, who achieved first class honours in finance.

‘Prestigious appointment and honour for St Andrews professor’ (Fife Today, 17.07.12) focused on the appointment of Professor Peter McKiernan, Business, as regional head to oversee planning of reforms to post-16 education in West Lothian. The report also noted he has received a Fellowship from the European Academy of Management.

‘Saltire call for student Chloe’ (Ayrshire Post, 06.07.12) is one of several articles in the local press about the success of the Saltire interns at Strathclyde University. This article focuses on business student Chloe McKechnie who is among 30 Strathclyde students to have gained a Saltire Foundation Internship place- the most any single institution has had in the programme’s history.

'Glasgow to lead £3m European energy future' (Fresh Business Thinking, 20.07.12) was an article about how, in partnership with Glasgow City Council, ScottishPower and three European cities, Strathclyde will lead the ‘STEP-UP’ project to develop innovative energy ventures in Glasgow and throughout Europe.
