National Student Survey 2012 results

Strathclyde Business School has performed exceptionally well in the latest National Student Survey (NSS) results, with an average of 95% of final year undergraduate students professing themselves satisfied overall with all aspects of their course.

The National Student Survey (NSS) asks final year undergraduates from across the UK to provide feedback on their experience. The survey asks 22 questions which can be grouped into the following categories: Teaching; Assessment & Feedback; Academic Support; Organisation & Management; Learning Resources; Personal Development and Overall Satisfaction. This year, for the first time, the survey also asked students to rate their institution’s student union.

The results for the business school in each category paint an overall positive picture of student experience at Strathclyde Business School.

In terms of individual categories, Accounting achieved an overall satisfaction rating of 96%; Business studies 93%; Economics 96%; Finance 94%; Human Resource Management 96%; Management studies 98% and Marketing 92%.

Strathclyde University as a whole has been working to improve key areas of student experience and the successful enhancements are reflected in the results of the National Student Survey.
