Strathclyde Business School is collaborating with other triple accredited schools across the globe to enhance the events open to their combined alumni. Partners in the newly-formed International Business Schools Network include Queensland University of Technology, HEC Montreal, University of Maastricht, Aston University, ESCP Europe, City University Hong Kong, Shanghai Jiao Tong and Catolica Lisbon Business & Economics.
The first event to be organised and open to alumni from the triple accredited schools will take place in March 2013. SBS alumni will be invited to a joint alumni event being run by City University Hong Kong and Queensland University of Technology in Hong Kong. This will coincide with the major APAIE (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education) conference being held from March 11-14.
The event is the first of its kind for the triple accredited school network and it is envisaged that alumni will be attracted by the ability to access a wider group of business professionals working in the region. Elaine Collinson, Director of International UG Programmes, represents Strathclyde Business School in the network and will be attending the event.
