Dr Aliakbar Jafari of the Department of Marketing has been elected as FCIM Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Five students from the Department of Economics had their PhD vivas in the space of four weeks over January and February. They are Matthew Winning, Stuart McIntyre, Surapol Shrihuang, Shaopeng Huang and Nikolaos Danias.
Dr Matthew Alexander and Dr Kathy Hamilton from the Department of Marketing were invited to participate at the Scottish Government's launch of Community Rail Partnerships in Scotland. The event was attended by approximately 70 delegates from across the UK and was officially launched by Keith Brown, MSP Minister for Transport. Matthew and Kathy have conducted an in-depth study on First ScotRail’s Adopt a Station Scheme.
