MDP 3 Ernst & Young prizewinners

As part of the Management Development Programme, third year business school students had to perform a presentation for Ernst & Young on the topic of "Ethical and Sustainability Issues in Organisations".

Ernst & Young, one of the most successful professional services firms in the world, award prizes to the three best MDP 3 teams for their Business Ethics project and presentation. This year there were approximately 80 teams and the best three then had to present for Ernst & Young in their Glasgow office on January 30.


The winners

First place went to Team 7C Miriam Brackenridge, Neil James Godon, Victoria Margaret Hobson, Ruairidh James, Bogdan Kachanov, Francesca Anne Kirkpatrick, Paul McGinley, Daili Wang.

Second place was team 8H: Rhona Ann Campbell, Erin Canny, Claire Alexandra Curran, Jemma Johnston, Jillian Stewart, Shan Jiang

Third place was team 3F: Craig Barnett, Yvonne Hay, Liam Hendry, Maryam Latif, Sarah Paterson, Heini Tahkokallio

Working on this project enables the students to develop their research and critical information skills, project management skills, ICT, presentation and report writing skills, all skills which recruiters are looking for and critical for students who in future will be working in organisations in graduate roles.

The winning team was awarded individual £50 vouchers, the second placed team £30 vouchers and the third team £20 vouchers.
