The Scottish Corporate Awards, for which Strathclyde Business School carries out research, took place on April 23.
The new awards, launched by Business Insider in association with Barclays, incorporate the successful Scotland plc awards and aim to recognise the best performing publicly listed and private companies in Scotland.
As with the plc awards, Strathclyde Business School carried out research for the awards, offered to the judges to consider when making their decisions. As well as looking at the financial performance of the companies, SBS carried out in-depth analysis of companies’ global operations and impact, efforts and effects of policies and practice to enhance sustainability and the extent and effect of workplace innovation.
Over 400 people attended the event at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow, with senior representatives from Scotland’s largest and best performing companies attending. The winning companies were:
