NSS: Strathclyde student satisfaction rises

The most recent National Student Survey (NSS) shows that the University of Strathclyde's satisfaction rating has risen by 3% to 89%. The newly published survey also shows that the University’s satisfaction score of 89% is 1% higher than the averages for both Scotland and the UK as a whole.

Strathclyde matched or improved its performance in each of the survey’s eight categories, with particularly notable increases of 7% for Organisation & Management and 4% for Students’ Union.

The University scored 9% above the UK average for Students’ Union, 5% for Personal Development and 4% for Learning Resources.

NSS, undertaken by Ipsos Mori on behalf of HEFCE (Higher Education Funding Council for England), has been conducted annually since 2005 and gathers opinions, mainly from final year undergraduates, on the quality of their courses.
