Students chosen to attend Australian Business Case competition

Following a competitive application process, four students have been chosen to represent the University of Strathclyde at the Australian Undergraduate Business Case Competition (AUBCC) in Brisbane, Australia this November.

The AUBCC is an annual international case competition that brings together undergraduate university students from across the world to compete in fast-paced and challenging business case studies. The week-long programme from November 30-December 5 provides students with a chance to visit Australia, build cross-cultural relationships and tackle real-world business challenges. This year's competition will be held in Brisbane at Queensland University of Technology Business School.

The Strathclyde Business School team is one of 16 teams of highly motivated and intelligent students participating in high intensity business case analysis, work-shopping and presentation delivery, culminating in a champion team announcement on the final day.

Strathclyde is the only Scottish university taking part in this competition, one of two teams from the UK, and one of only three from Europe.

The four team members from the University of Strathclyde are: Andrew Grindlay (Marketing and Economics), Matthew McClintock (International Business), Mark O'Neill (Marketing and Business Enterprise) and Lesley Wynne (Accounting).
