Economics professor visits RAND Corporation

Professor Robert E. Wright (Economics) spent August/September as a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Financial Decision Making at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California. He also visited the Dornsife Center for Economic and Social Research at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

The purpose of the visit was to work on methodological issues relating to the analysis of financial literacy amongst older people, which is a key feature of Healthy Ageing in Scotland (HAGIS) project. The visit was funded by a grant from the National Institute of Ageing (NIA) in Washington, DC.
