'Blue Sky' thinking for MBA students

MBA students attending the summer school had a 'BlueSky' experience when they got the chance to undertake the team building and development course organised by the MBA team and offered by Blue Sky Experiences.

MBA staff and students, as well as international summer school students, were all offered the chance to take part in one of the away days which took place in June in the Perthshire countryside. Team building games – in the form of Scottish Highland Games - and high adrenaline sports such as quad biking and driving blindfolded all helped promote communication, problem solving, effective team work and of course a lot of fun.

MBA student, Anuj Wilson, said, "The whole day at the BlueSky Experiences was so eventful that time just flew by. Throwing big sledgehammers as far as possible, aiming wellington boots into tyres just big enough for them to land in, tossing heavy wood blocks as far up behind us, relay racing with weights in both hands, and the tug of war were some of the very exciting outdoor team activities which kept us on our toes the whole morning. We were so hungry by noon that even having lunch was a very exciting activity – it was hard earned!"
