Strathclyde Business School's guest lecture programme
A number of guest lectures are organised throughout the MBA year to appeal to MBA students, and also to students from other postgraduate business courses. This year, guest lecturers included:
- Gordon McAlpine 'Secret Millionaire' and CEO, The Sales Club
- Kim Warren, strategy expert and professor at London Business School
- Mark Anderson, President, Strategy & Business Development, Pearson International
- Martin O'Grady, CFO, Orient Express
- Sir Christoper Evans, leading medical sciences entrepreneur, hosted by Sir Tom Hunter, as part of the New Enlightenment at Strathclyde lecture series
- Mick Elliott, Chief Executive, RSNO
- David Knott, Head of Enterprise Architecture at Lloyds TSB
- Blair Jenkins OBE, former Head of News and Current Affairs at both BBC Scotland and Scottish Television
- Charan Gill, entrepreneur, founder of Ashoka chain of restaurants

- AMBA Cluster event held at SBS: Dave Pratt, long-term entrepreneur within the energy sector and current Chairman of AiM listed Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc; Alex Barton: former student entrepreneur and founder of Student Designers; and Mamta Singhal, former finalist of AMBA Student of the Year, and Senior Executive in Innovation and Enterprise with Scottish Enterprise, and Dr Jonathan Levie, Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship
