Adam is interested in the sociology and social policy of youth. He works in several areas including widening participation, education-to-work transitions, work and precarity, youth policy, youth justice and youth subcultures. Ciaran has worked on the role of social class on graduate employment trajectories and on a range of research projects looking at graduate employment, widening participation, and service families, all with a strong social justice focus. Their paper examines how graduates’ education-to-work transitions has been affected by Covid, who has fared better and who – less well, and discusses some of the factors affecting these transitions.
