Abstract:  There is evidence that the language used in different cultures, influences to some extent, thoughts and behaviours. This seminar makes visible the language of entrepreneurship used in various cultures/countries, and identifies where there are similarities and differences in what the word “entrepreneurship” means as a way to talk about the phenomenon. The seminar aims to showcase the various ways that “entrepreneurship” is talked about in different cultures/countries. We believe this has significant value to the scholarly community, in that it highlights important differences in what the phenomenon means to individuals outside of the “American” perspective.
