The problem solvers for environmental and human issues are already out there, they just need to be empowered and trained. If we can give them the skills in innovation and entrepreneurship, they can be the solution providers to the world's current social and ecological problems and co-create a sustainable world.

This panel discussion will bring together academics, entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurship ecosystem actors to discuss approaches for creating entrepreneurs in underserved communities to tackle the SDG challenges.

The event will discuss how a bottom-up approach, equipping local communities with training, and establishing an ecosystem, can develop solutions.  A recent global survey highlights the failure of entrepreneurship education in schools and our proposal for SDG Zero is a solution to this.

Benefits of attending

  • Understanding approaches to how innovators and entrepreneurs may be created in communities to address SDG challenges.
  • Develop a community of practice around the development of entrepreneurship ecosystems in underserved communitie
