Abstract: "Dr Anne Owen, Sustainability Research Institute reflects on her experiences calculating and providing the UK Carbon Footprint statistics for UK Government. She discusses the calculation procedures of providing national totals, sector level analyses and disaggregation to the local authority level and by household type. For each calculation Anne discusses how these results have been reported by Government and advisory groups and how results can be used in UK Climate change policy.."
