CK Janu, leader of the Dalit-Adivasi Gothra Maha Sabha social movement for redistribution of land to the landless, Kerala, India; author of Mother-forest: The Unfinished Story of CK Janu

Rosinaldo Waro Munduruku, young warrior of the Munduruku people; participant in the successful self-demarcation porocesses for territory and autonomy in the Brazilian Amazon; member of the Iperig Ayu social movement.

Deise Lima De Oliveira, Master's student at Amazon Institiute of Family Agriculture at Federal University of Para; Agent for the Pastoral Land Commission, accompanying families dispossessed by landowners; and assistant to Wakoburun Munduruku Womens' Association.
