Management Science seminar - Reflections on an Academic Career

In this session, aimed primarily at PhD students and early career academics, Matthew will give an overview of his time at Strathclyde so far. Reflecting from his current perspective as Head of Department, he’ll share what went well, what didn’t, and what he suggests focusing on at different stages of your career. This will give those attending advice and thoughts on navigating the early stages of an academic career and thinking ahead to what really counts in the long run.
