Please join us for an Academic Career Development Workshop with Professor Finola Kerrigan, Professor of Marketing and Deputy Dean of Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham. Please respond to sbs-rke@strath.ac.uk 

In her role as Deputy Dean of Birmingham Business School, Professor Kerrigan has responsibility for Staffing and Career Development. In this session, aimed at mid-career researchers, she will draw on her wealth of experience leading colleagues through career development. She will address important issues such as managing different career pressures, supporting community developments and balancing contribution to the institution, the discipline and personal goals. This promises to be a lively and engaging session with valuable learning points for future career planning.

About the Speaker:

Finola Kerrigan is Professor of Marketing and Deputy Dean of Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham.  Her research on marketing and consumer research has been published in a range of leading international journals such as Journal of Consumer Research, International Journal of Research in Marketing the Academy of Management Journal. Professor Kerrigan's research has been funded by UKRI and the British Academy.  She has specific expertise in visual research methods and qualitative research and has contributed to theoretical advances in marketing in arts and cultural sectors, branding and digital identity.
