Many of us are aware of the potential for educational spaces to both reproduce and resist social hierarchies.

Demonstrating Strathclyde’s emphasis on innovative research and commitment to SDG10 (Reducing Inequalities), this seminar by second-year Institute of Education Doctoral student Dharshi Edward explores interactions of caste and gender in Sri Lanka, drawing on a critical standpoint feminist approach to explore access, power and lived experiences in education spaces.
