Strathclyde in top European business schools ranking

Strathclyde Business School has been ranked in the latest ranking from the Financial Times which features the top 90 European business schools. SBS is in the top 10 of UK business schools and is ranked 34th in the top 90 ranking.

Out of 20 UK business schools to be featured in the ranking, Strathclyde was ranked 8th, and is also 1st in Scotland.

This ranking, published today (December 5), is based on a business school’s position in all of the other FT rankings during 2016: Global MBA, Executive MBA (EMBA), Masters in Management (MiM) and executive education. Strathclyde Business School takes part in three of the four rankings.

This latest ranking follows on from the recent success in the Times Higher Education Awards 2016 which saw Strathclyde Business School named ‘Business School of the Year’.

Associate Principal and Executive Dean Professor David Hillier, said, “We are delighted to be in this latest Financial Times ranking. We are coming to the end of what has been a fantastic year for the Business School. We were delighted to be named Business School of the Year in the very recent Times Higher Education awards for both our overall performance and our innovative and entrepreneurial outlook.

“We recently celebrated the re-opening of our state-of-the-art business school building which has been transformed with a £23 million investment, and this year we have also been marking the 50th anniversary of our renowned MBA programme. Every success is testament to our excellent staff, students and alumni.”
