MBA project management workshop
A group of 12 MBA students took part in a one day workshop with Strathclyde alumnus Dr Deasún Ó Conchúir (pictured) and his organisation Scatterwork on project management and project success. Offered out to all global MBA students, the workshop was limited to 12 students, and students were picked to bring in individuals from different parts of the world and a range of industries.
Each student brought a current project they are working on in their workplace to the session and were involved in a highly interactive and practical workshop.
Student Mobin Alam said, "It was a wonderful introduction to Project Management for those who want to build their career in this field, and an essential session for MBA students especially those who are aspiring to become change agents & future leaders. The best part of this session was Deasún's approach to explaining major project management methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, and Continuous in a simple & inspiring way."
Deasún did a PhD in biomedical electronics while at Strathclyde but has also played a role in supervising MBA student project in Switzerland more recently.
