Hunter Centre research focuses on Entrepreneurial Mindset

Dr Suzanne Mawson and Dr Lucrezia Casulli of the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship have received funding from Enterprise Educators UK (EEUK) to investigate how entrepreneurship educators define and use the notion of Entrepreneurial Mindset in their teaching.

They are using the funds to travel across the UK to conduct focus groups in different areas with university educators who are interested in the notion of entrepreneurial mindset. An illustrator is capturing the conversations happening between the two Strathclyde researchers and the educators in real time and turning it into cartoon-style graphics which help summarise the main themes of the conversations.

Lucrezia said, "We are delighted to have hired this fabulous illustrator who is producing graphics of our discussions before our very eyes in the research sessions. Once we have completed our work at the different universities we have identified and we have all the resulting illustrations, we will tease out the main themes and will be sharing this with EEUK as well as the wider public.

"We hope by using the illustrator to summarise each session it will provide a useful and engaging means to connect with our research and provoke further discussion."
