Strathclyde professor speaks at Miners’ Strike commemoration event 

Emeritus Professor Phil Taylor of the Department of Work, Employment and Organisation gave an invited presentation to a Conference commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the Miners’ Strike at the University of Cardiff on March 2. It attracted over 100 people including former miners, women from the miners’ support groups, and Women Against Pit Closures, employment lawyers and academics and was reported in the Welsh media and on the BBC.
