MBA students engage with HeadStrong Minds

Our full-time Strathclyde Business School MBA students took part in a live client case competition with HeadStrong Minds on May 23-24.
The students worked tirelessly over three days on the case and then made their presentations to the judging panel of HeadStrong's Brian Costello and the judging panel Lesley Pender, Kieran Phelan, and Dominic Finn.
HeadStrong’s CEO and Founder, Brian Costello, found the experience of great benefit. He said, “It was a pleasure spending a couple of days with the students from the Strathclyde MBA programme to help HeadStrong develop a strategy for the next three to five years. This was a really tough challenge given that we are a micro company, who deal with public sector contracts (and finance) and are challenged on many micro-company fronts such as human resource, working capital, time, travel restrictions. I was amazed and delighted at the amount of information, insight, and ingenuity the MBAs showed considering they only had about 48 hours to pull it all together.
"I felt as if this was a hugely valuable exercise and one I’d be delighted to repeat at another time. Thank you to all the staff, students, and everyone else involved.”
Camila Rae, MBA External Engagement Officer, said, "We are grateful to Brian for this excellent engagement with our MBA students - they all thoroughly enjoyed working on a live case study with a client. Congratulations to our winning group Mark Evans, Nitesh Tripathi, Rahul Vipinachandran and Prabhakaran Gauthaman!"
