Strathclyde Business School ranks in top programmes worldwide

Strathclyde Business School has once again been included in the Financial Times' Masters in Finance ranking, which lists the top programmes worldwide.

SBS was one of just 13 UK schools to be included in this highly competitive global ranking. The school's 64th overall position is a testament to the outstanding performance of its MSc Finance graduates from the 2020/21 cohort, whose survey responses formed the basis of the ranking.

Professor David Hillier, Associate Principal and Executive Dean of Strathclyde Business School, expressed his pride in the achievement, stating, "As a triple accredited business school, we are committed to providing the best possible education in accounting and finance. Our Masters in Finance programmes offer students a comprehensive and practical learning experience that prepares them for successful careers in this crucial economic sector."

SBS's commitment to 'useful learning' is evident in its innovative approach to finance education. Students benefit from unique opportunities such as the AmplifyME bootcamp, which provides a real-life trading simulation, and access to the Bloomberg Trading Simulation Laboratory. The school also incorporates experiential learning in key modules and regularly hosts guest academics from around the world.

In addition to its triple accreditation from AMBA, AACSB, and EQUIS, SBS's finance courses are accredited by CIMA and CFA, and the School maintains an academic partnership with the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

Professor Hillier expressed his gratitude to the class of 2021 for participating in the ranking and wished them continued success in their future endeavours.

The full ranking can be found on the Financial Times website.
