SBS graduate in Study UK Alumni Awards

Strathclyde Business School alumnus Nabeel Qadeer is a global finalist in the British Council Study UK Alumni Awards in the Business and Innovation Award 2024 category.
Nabeel - who graduated with an MSc in Business & Management from SBS in 2012 - is a pivotal figure in Pakistan's entrepreneurial landscape. As an innovator, Nabeel is key in influencing the entrepreneurial landscape in Pakistan. He has spearheaded ground-breaking initiatives, including the creation of Plan9 Tech Incubator and hosting Idea Croron Ka - Pakistan's first business reality show - showcasing his commitment to democratising entrepreneurship. Nabeel has also taken on global roles, serving as CEO of the Commonwealth Youth Innovation Hub and contributing to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development–Commonwealth Entrepreneurship Project for Pakistan.
The Business and Innovation category award is for alumni who are active in initiating and contributing to innovative or creative new ideas, solutions or business opportunities, that have the potential for growth and Nabeel is the South Asia finalist.
The four global winners from each category - Business & Innovation, Culture & Creativity, Science & Sustainability and Social Action Award - will be selected for their outstanding achievements as professionals, entrepreneurs and community leaders in September 2024.
The four winners are selected by a global judging panel in the final stage of an extensive judging process of the 28 global finalists. All winners and finalists are UK university alumni with outstanding success stories, representing 25 UK universities and 22 countries.
